The Lie of “Giving Them What they Want”

(They never seem to consider what a woman confronted by rapist should do.) But consider this case.

Police tell Eyewitness News that the man was returning home on South Willow near South Post Oak when a gunman approached him in the parking lot and demanded money and his car.

The [car-jacker] shot at the victim after he handed over his keys, but the victim had his own gun and returned fire, shooting and killing one of the carjackers.

So they wanted his car, and AFTER he handed over his keys, they shot at him. AFTER he had given them what they wanted, they tried to kill him. He successfully defended himself.

Note that he didn't use lethal force to defend his car; he used lethal force to defend his life. Note also that they pulled guns and shot first - he still won the argument. [KABA]
