Everybody's Favorite Government Agency Now Trampling on the First Amendment | Opinion | Our Views: FEMA’s actions are scandalous This is ridiculous, and must be stopped.
Government authorities telling private citizens that they can’t speak with journalists — then threatening to have those journalists arrested — is typical for despotic regimes in foreign capitals.

Incredibly, this also occurred here on American soil when security guards employed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency prevented residents of FEMA trailer parks from talking to the press.
They told people they had no right to talk to reporters, ORDERED them to return to their trailers (I wasn't aware that they were under arrest), and told the reporters that residents of FEMA's parks did not have the PRIVILGE of speaking to reporters.

If like me, you want to let your elected officials know how you feel about this issue, you can write to them at this link. [hat tip No Quarters]
