Republicans or Socialists? It's Hard to Tell

Minimum Wage Hike Passed By House The minimum wage raised from $5.15 to $7.25 in 3 years. That's a 41% increase in wages, plus a corresponding increase in Social Insecurity. I wonder how many people will be put out of work by this law?

Meanwhile the Estate Tax - or Death Tax - was "cut." Not eliminated, but cut. Democrats are incensed becuase they feel that money belongs to them, not those dirty "rich" people who built businesses, and provided jobs.

I wish this country would elect some fiscal conservatives. The Republicans surely don't fill that void. Perhaps it is time to vote Libertarian?
