Shooting Sports: Teaching the Next Generation

Buffalo News - NRA camp nurtures shooting stars A positive - if short - write up of an NRA camp for kids 12 to 18.
This free demonstrational gathering offers boys and girls ages 12 to 18 a day of shooting education, experiences and fun.

"We have to hold it to 75 kids each year, and the camps have been filled in past years," said Conrad Boyle, camp coordinator.

Kids get to try trap and skeet shotgun shooting, small-bore rifle, muzzleloader, and archery shooting.
They stress safety of course, but the amazing thing is the reporter actually uses the "F" word -- "Fun." It is a New York paper, just not from NY City.
