Of Course it Was Self-defense

abc11tv.com: Court Orders New Murder Trial for Disabled Man But the judge in the original trial didn't allow the jury to consider that as a valid defense. So the disabled man was convicted of murder.

That decision by the judge was thrown out on appeal, so he gets a new trial.

Why would the judge not let a jury consider self-defense? Does he hate freedom so much that he has to stack the books against our right of self-defense? Maybe he is an avowed statist and believes we should just call 911 and pray the police can intervene before we are dead.

Whatever the case his ruling was thrown out. Too bad he wasn't thrown off the bench.

Self-defense is a human right.
