A 54-year-old clerk opened fire on a hooded intruder who threw a rock through the window as she slept in a back room at the Second Avenue convenience store.She didn't hit him, but he ran like a rabbit. Police took the weapon - of course - but she should get it back eventually. I hope she has another.

Even in Pittsburgh, PA guns stop crime
Clerk opens fire - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review PA has a crime problem, but the good guys came out on top this time.
