Self-defense still works

This time, manager came up firing After being robbed almost a year-ago-to-the-day, a store owner had a better response this time around.
Late Friday, about closing time, the manager broke free from the tape that bound his hands, reached for the handgun tucked in the waistband of his pants. He fired at one of the three armed robbers, killing him, police said.
The bad guy was shot twice in the torso.

The store manager will not be charged.
Police said they expect he will not be charged. They believe he acted in self-defense, fearing for his life and the lives of his two co-workers, also tied up and herded into a back room.

"All of them talked about how afraid they were, that they were going to get shot," Sgt. Terry McGee said.
