Burglar Shot By Homeowner

The Register-Herald, Beckley, West Virginia - Sheriff: Burglary suspect shot by homeowner Break into enough homes and you will find an armed homeowner.

Here are the details:
At 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Fayette County 911 Center was notified of a burglary in progress at a Pleasant View Road residence, near Fayetteville, Laird said. Later, the alleged burglar was reported to have been shot in the hand by the [female] homeowner.
The burglar was identified and found by police at a residence and transported to hospital. The burglar will be facing charges once she gets out of the hospital.

I love a story where women are defending themselves. No charges have been filed against the homeowner, and I wouldn't expect her to face any. Self-defense is a human right.
