Isn't Public Health Care Wonderful?

FOXNews.com - 11-Year-Old Boy Partially Deaf for Nine Years Is Suddenly Cured Except when it isn't of course. For 9 years the "doctors" at the British National Health Service missed the fact that he had a wad of cotton stuck in his ear.
"I had always suspected Jerome had stuck something in his ear when he was little and that was causing the problem. But the doctors and hearing specialists said it was wax and he would probably grow out of it."
Yes sir, that is quality health care - just not very high quality.

Did they even bother to look in the kid's ear? I guess they didn't need to. They "knew" it was wax without looking. [via The Freeholder]
