Now that Spitzer is History...

Take a look at the new governor of New York. Client Number 9's Troubling Number 2 by Mar Sheppard To say that you should use a firearm as a non-lethal weapon is ridiculous, but the new governor of New York, feels exactly that way.
After all, rule two of the universal laws of gun safety warns "never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy." Any instructor worth his or her salt quickly instills in students that a muzzle should never be directed at anything you don’t want a hole in, or anyone you are not willing to kill.
If you want to use non-lethal force, use a Taser or something, but not a firearm.
