The Case That Should Not Have Been Prosecuted

Jury Acquits Texas Man Who Killed Teenage Intruder / - Waco, Temple, Killeen Weather and News Authority If strangers are in my home, I will defend myself. The DA feels differently.
In a case that sparked outrage in Laredo, a district court jury has acquitted a man in the shooting death of a teenager who broke into a mobile home in search of a snack.
Was this guy a saint? No. But that doesn't change the fact that he has the right to defend himself. In Texas, you also have the right to defend your property.

So why was this prosecuted? Because the DA is more interested in politics than in the law or justice.

It too the jury about 3 hours to acquit.
