He got served with divorce papers earlier that day. Then he went to the home of "his rival" (in his small mind) armed with both 9mm and .22 caliber handguns.
Robert Hunter, 50, was shot in the chest and arms with a 12-gauge shotgun after police say he broke into the home of Joe McIntosh Wednesday night. West Valley Police Capt. Tom McLachlan said Hunter's injuries were not believed to be life threatening.Police seem to be hoping to charge McIntosh who defended both himself the woman in the story. They are still investigating.
The fact that Hunter threatened McIntosh on previous occasions would seem to make this act of self-defense reasonable.
People, you need to learn to recognize when "It's over!" applies to you, learn to bow out gracefully, and get on with your life.
