911 Call Center Screw-ups

Examples Of Mistakes Made at 911 Call Centers Most screw ups result in verbal or written reprimands. This is an example (there are many) that involves someone who was shot.
Discipline records show that Keasler asked the man who had shot him and when the man said he did not know, the 911 operator began speaking in an "uncaring tone of voice."

The caller hung up and did not get help until he called back and spoke to another 911 operator.
Calling 911 is fine thing, but it doesn't always work out as advertised.
