Chicago Cops and High School Students

Police investigating alleged strip search of teens -- A bad mix on the best of days. In contradiction of police - several policies actually - a Chicago Cop acting as a school security officer strip searched two students.

Aside from the violation of policy on strip searching minors, there is the small question of the Fourth Amendment.
Neither of the girls was ever told they were suspected in the fire, or have since been told they were suspects -- meaning the officer's alleged actions violated the constitutional protections against unreasonable search and seizure, Fennerty [attorney for one of the families] said.

"There was no probable cause to search these girls in this manner," he said.
Welcome to the police state.
