When you're caught, red-handed...

It can be hard to maintain your innocence. Chicago cop admits extorting tow truck driver :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Chicago Crime Illegal activities among Chicago's police? What a surprise.
A 22-year police veteran pleaded guilty in federal court this morning, admitting he extorted a tow truck driver. Michael Ciancio, 56, admitted he took bribes and personal car repairs from a tow truck company owner in return for sending wrecked cars from accidents its way.
I wonder how many others will be caught in this net. (Could this be a plea deal? This article doesn't say.)

And 100 bucks per tow in bribes? How much does it cost to have your car towed in the Chicago? I hate to ask.
