Calling 911 is a fine thing. It can save your house or your life. But it should not be the only thing you do in an emergency situation. Learning CPR can save a loved ones life just like calling 911. So can learning to defend yourself from violent attack.
Or look at it this way... Do you have a fire-extinguisher in your kitchen?
