A Lot of Bad Things Can Happen in 7 minutes

Frantic Phone Call for Help 10 minutes after the 911 call started. 6 or 7 minutes after shots were fired before police arrive.
According to a spokesperson for the Chattanooga Police Department, officers aim for a 3 minute response time. Sgt. Jerri Weary says the 6-7 minutes it took after shots were fired is "reasonable." Weary says response times can vary based on time of day, current call volume, and actual location of the officer.
In other words, even if you call before the manure hits the fan, you are on your own.

The call was originally to report people breaking into a car. Apparently the cops weren't going to respond to that at all.

Go ahead and bet your life on a government-run bureaucracy, just don't insist that I subscribe to the same insanity.
