Is Deception Grounds for Murder?
Defense Claims Transgender Murder Was a Result of Deception I love this defense. Angie Zapata lied. So he killed her.
I wonder if this defense would apply to every man who ever lied to a woman. "I found out he was married. He lied to me, so I killed him." Yeah, that would work.
Did Angie Zapata make some bad decisions? Maybe. Who hasn't. Is that a capital offense now?
Everyone who is saying "she asked for it," by lying - and those people are out there - sound like generations of idiots who blamed women for rape. It is the same argument.
