Verdict Reached in the Zapata Murder Trial

JusticeMurder and Hate Verdict in Transgender Case - NYTimes.com Andrade was found guilty of First Degree Murder. Sentence: Life without parole.

The defense is still going on about deception. As if that is justification for murder. As I asked the other day, would any woman be justified in killing any man who lied to her? "He told me was single." "He told me was employed." "He told me he wanted kids."

Lying is not a good thing. But lying is not a capital offense.

[Update: The ^$$hole defense attorney keeps referring to Angie Zapata as "Justin." This is the kind of attorney that leads to lawyer jokes.

"What's the difference between a dead skunk in the middle of the road,
and a dead lawyer in the middle of the road? There are skid marks in front of the skunk."]
