Yemen Stands Up to Pirates

Yemen tanker seized from pirates - Telegraph Maybe this is beginning to be a trend. Yemeni commandos stormed a hijacked ship and took it away from the pirates.

"A team of the special commandos stormed the [Qana] at 5am and fought the pirates, shooting three of them dead," a Yemeni defence ministry spokesman said

Three pirates are dead; eleven are in custody. Five merchant seamen on board the ship were injured.

If it is a trend, the French started it. (I know, I couldn't believe it either.)
