Cops Behaving Badly - Historical Division

Not that 1995 is ancient history.... Surmounting a blue wall - The Boston Globe A case of cops lying to protect cops, even when the victim is a cop. (Of course the victim was a black cop, so that probably had something to do with it.)
[Officer Michael] Cox was working an undercover assignment in Mattapan when, at the end of a police search, he was chased and beaten by a group of officers on Woodruff Way. The officers in question were never definitively identified, thanks to a blue wall of silence that immediately enveloped the case.
Do you think much has changed in 14 years?
