Sorry, You ARE Responsible for Your Actions

The whole society has become a collection of whiners trying to pass the blame to someone else. Stabbing suspect cites pimple meds.

An ex-boyfriend who fatally stabbed a 16-year-old cheerleader started looking for an excuse — mood swings caused by pimple medicine — while still hospitalized with injuries he suffered when he slashed his own throat moments after the killing, a prosecutor said Tuesday at the start of his trial.

At 16 you should know enough about right and wrong to understand that murder is wrong.

So he murdered his ex-girlfriend, and then tried (and failed) to kill himself. Oh, and the girlfriend, he stabbed her 16 times.

[The lawyer] contends [the boyfriend] went to [girlfriend's] town house to reconcile with her and had the knife with him only because he's an avid hunter who has carried it since he was a Boy Scout.

Now, I can believe he always carries a pocketknife. (It was a 3.5 inch folder.) But that doesn't mean get off easy when it comes to what you do with that knife.

He went to her house to "reconcile." I wonder what her reaction was.

There are way too many people who have the "How dare you live without me!" attitude. People need to chill.
