August Peters was getting out of his car to enter his home when Martin Baltazar jumped out from behind it, and put a knife to his throat. He was attempting to rob him of his money and car, but he didn’t get very far.Police were nearby and chased Baltazar through the neighborhood and eventually caught up to him collapsed in a nearby street.
Peters grabbed his gun, and shot Baltazar in the stomach.
He was listed as stable in a local hospital.
