Investigators say Thelton Chestnut and Jeremy Vereen, 22, of Conway forced their way into the home and showed a gun.Self-defense is a human right. Good Guys 2, Bad Guys 0.
Horry County police say a person inside that home fired at the suspects, killing Chestnut.
Jeremy Vereen is charged with Burglary 1st Degree and Attempted Armed Robbery.
