Detectives say the homeowner was asleep inside the house when he was awakened by a knock at the front door. When he went to answer it, police say that someone broke in through the back door.Having been the victim of crime in the past, he wasn't trusting. He had his weapon, when he went to the door. (A lot of people who carry concealed are nearly always armed, even at home.) When the bad guy attacked, after he thought the homeowner was distracted, the homeowner was prepared.
Police say the homeowner had a weapon and fired as many as four rounds.
Self-defense is a human right.
