Quote of the Day

"Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum" which comes the Epitoma rei militaris, written about 390 CE by Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus. Usually misquoted as "Si vis pacem, para bellum."

The entire passage goes something like this....
Therefore, he who wishes peace, should prepare war; he who desires victory, should carefully train his soldiers; he who wants favorable results, should fight relying on skill, not on chance.
