So How's All That Gun Control Working Out for You?

Not so good. The City of Chicago has draconian gun laws. Doesn't help. Violent week in Chicago despite weather - RedEye
Fourteen homicides were recorded in Chicago in the last week despite the cold weather, conditions that historically see fewer violent crimes.

Fatal shootings were recorded in Auburn Gresham, Brighton Park, Chatham, Fuller Park, Humboldt Park, New City, South Shore, Washington Park and West Garfield Park, according to a RedEye analysis of preliminary police data.
Even the bad guys don't want to go out in a Chicago winter, and though it is early days yet, the weather is winter.

So for all of its gun laws, and stupid restrictions (when I visit family in Illinois, I can't buy ammunition; I have to drive the 45 minutes to Indiana and pay 2 tolls) they have a huge amount of crime.

Perhaps they should stop worrying about gun control, and start worrying about criminal control.
