On Wednesday, Tiffany Brown was found guilty of trying to deposit a phony $1 million check at the Chicago Patrolmen's Federal Credit Union. She said it was for a settlement from a local amusement park, and she had a fake memo to back it up. I guess she thought no one would doubt the word of a Chicago cop. (What was she thinking?)
Brown, 38, was convicted of forgery, attempted theft and official misconduct
No word on sentencing; I guess that will happen later.
