Criminals Still Don't Know Texans Are Armed

So a would-be burglar meets and armed homeowner. Lubbock homeowner shoots attempted burglar
The homeowner tells police that someone was trying to get into his home around 2:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of 45th Street. The intruder knocked at the front door, and then the back door, and when he tried to kick in the door, the homeowner shot the potential burglar with a shotgun.
That will ruin your day.

The thug is in hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

The homeowner should not face charges.
"A person does have the right to defend their house and the contents from someone breaking in and specifically the law states against burglary." says Lt. Neal Barron of the Lubbock Police Department.
Self-defense is a human right. And it works.
