How Long Should You Expect to Wait After Calling Police

A lot of bad things can happen in 12 minutes. Crime falls in Sutton but Surrey Police response times slow (From Surrey Comet)
However, the figures, released by the Metropolitan Police, show Sutton officers are attending emergency calls on time, with an average response time of 11.54 minutes, against a 12-minute standard.
Of course in the UK you can't spend that 12 minutes defending yourself. (Or you can, as long as your response is measured and you don't use too much force, to be determined later by the prosecutors safe in their offices.)

Link suggested will give some more information. Police recruitment will be done to help public because police officers are meant as a public servants. When the officials are doing police recruitment they will be very clear at all the thoughts.
