12 Recommendations on Domestic Violence - Doesn't Include Self-defense

The system still wants you to be dependent on the system. Lawmakers Urge Steps To Combat Domestic Violence - Courant.com They want more courts, school classes, better enforcement of restraining orders, etc.

How about telling people with active restraining orders against abusive stalkers that they can get a fast-track concealed carry permit?

How about offering free self-defense training by the local PD?

How about offering free weapons training by the local PD?

How about offering discounts on firearms?

How about encouraging people to be something besides a helpless victim dependent on others for their safety?

Looks to me like they want more gummint...which, as we know, won't actually be able to do anything about the rate of domestic violence.

What the hell? I guess the plans brochures will be titled "How to Deal with Being Beaten Until He Decides to Kill You". Absurd.
