With Friends Like These...

Kidnapping and attempted murder. But it wasn't a hate crime (according to police anyway). The fact that it happened on a day to respect gays who had been the victims of bullying is just a coincidence (according to police, anyway). Police say there is no evidence attack against gay teen was a 'hate crime'
Those charged in the alleged attack — who attended Jackson County High School with Williams — are Ashley N. Sams, 18, of Annville; Corrine M. Schwab, 18 of Sandgap; and a 17-year-old girl. Her name and the charges against her have not been released because she is a juvenile.

[Cheyenne] Williams said the three teens took her against her will to Flat Lick Falls, physically abused her and tried to push her off a cliff.
She escaped by getting a large stick and using it as a defensive weapon.

Some of the incident was captured on cell-phone video.

The 3 charged are described as having been friends with victim.
As for the timing, however, she noted that the alleged attack happened Friday, the day of a national observance for people who have faced bullying or harassment because of their sexual orientation.
Just another of the pesky "special rights" the gays are always trying to get. The right to not be attacked and thrown over a cliff.
