Police said Robinson approached the taco trailer on a sidewalk at Monterrey Park about 11 p.m. and demanded cash at gunpoint.The guy who got shot was taken to the hospital for the gunshot wound. A second would-be robber was caught nearby, and is being held on an outstanding warrant.
After the wife handed over an undisclosed amount of money, her husband pulled out a gun and shot the suspect in the shoulder, according to a police report.
