The Violent Country Where Great Britain Used to Be

The level of violence in the UK is extreme. Judge: 'ladette binge-drinking culture' blame for 'plague' of alcohol fuelled violence - Telegraph
Alcohol-fuelled crime has left "ordinary, decent people" too scared to walk streets at night, District Judge Alan Berg said.
The general view of the UK as a safe country is 10 or 20 years out of date at least. Ordinary folks lock themselves in their homes at night.
