New Orleans, Louisiana (CNN) -- A towing vessel struck an oil well in the Barataria Waterway off the southeastern Louisiana coast on Tuesday, causing the well to emit oil and natural gas into Barataria Bay, the Coast Guard said in a news release.I blame global warming. Is it wrong that my first thought on seeing that story was that someone deliberately arranged it just to keep public attention on the "dangers" of oil now that BP is about ready to plug the Deepwater Horizon well for good? Or am I just being paranoid?*
