They Picked the Wrong Home to Invade

The incident happened about 3:30 a.m. in the 900 bock of Marshall Street when the home owner heard an alarm and then found the suspect at the front door trying to break in, Klain said.

Gunfire was exchanged, but the home owner was not injured. Investigators are looking into the possibility of a second person who may have been involved in the break-in attempt, [Officer Carey Klain, of Louisville Metro Police] said.
The would-be robber is in serious condition.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting because "It didn't look good," Klain said about the suspect's injuries.
One bad guy may still be on the loose.
