Destroying Peoples' Lives is Apparently Funny to Some

It seems a Rutgers University student thought it was funny to destroy a young man's life. Victim of Secret Dorm Sex Tape Commits Suicide - ABC News
A Rutgers University freshman posted a goodbye message on his Facebook page before jumping to his death after his roommate secretly filmed him during a "sexual encounter" in his dorm room and posted it live on the Internet.
So what possesses someone to destroy another person's life because he thinks it's funny?
A Twitter page that appears to have been operated by Ravi but has since been taken offline shows messages in which the accused student takes credit for the alleged videotaping of Clementi.

On Sept. 19, [Dharun] Ravi appears to tweet, "Roommate asked for the room till midnight. I went into molly's room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay."
This guy is so far charged with two counts of "invasion of privacy." Some are calling it a hate crime, and I have to agree.

The sad thing is that this guy is going to get a slap on the wrist, unless this can be raised it illegal wiretap, and then he will graduate from college, and suffer little if any fallout for the rest of his life. Justice for a dead gay man? Right.
