On Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Tyler Police responded to a 9-1-1 call around 5:30 a.m. from a female victim who stated her ex-husband came to Tyler and threatened to kill her and her son who is a college student in another city in Texas. They didn't say why he was trying to kill her. (Probably because he "loved" her, in his mind anyway.) He chased her vehicle and fired a shotgun blast at it, but she was not injured.
In an other incident....
The homeowner had heard her dog barking and looked out a window in time to observe Hail exiting his vehicle with a shotgun. She immediately retrieved her telephone, dialed 9-1-1 and then hid her son and herself in a closet as Hail shot into her residence. The dispatcher at the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office that took that 9-1-1 call was able to hear gunshots being fired at the time the call was taken. Mr. Hail then fled the scene prior to deputies arrival. The homeowner had filed a complaint of harassment against Hail about a month previously.
He apparently doesn't understand "No" or "It's over!"
So now he is in prison in Louisiana awaiting extradition to Texas. What the hell was this guy thinking? That they deserved to die for rejecting him?
