Police Still Don't Like Self-defense

Not all police, but some certainly hate it. Family finds knife-wielding intruder in home - KFOR

While his wife was on the phone with 911, the husband stormed in and grabbed his pistol when he saw a man standing at his back door.

He shot the knife-wielding visitor twice before the man took off out the back door.

Later it sounds more like "he shot at" than actually shot, but who expects journalists to write clearly?

Midwest City Chief Brandon Clabes said, "The best thing to do is call 911 and stay a safe distance away and observe. That's what we need you to do."

So what they need you to do is act like a frightened sheep, cower (at a safe distance) and call for help. Of course that doesn't always work out too well.

Self-defense is a human right. (And if the guy did get shot...) Good Guys 1, Bad Guys 0. (Also, don't bring a knife to a gunfight.)
