Relying on Governments to End Piracy Hasn't Worked

Que private-enterprise. UK Insurance Firms Plan Private Navy to Prevent Piracy | TTKN News
Insurance firms in the UK are considering forming a private navy to tackle the problem of piracy.

The £10m proposal will be funded by insurers and shipping companies in return for a reduction of anti-piracy insurance premiums.
I wonder if Letters of Marque will be involved.

Still, as long as piracy results in multi-million dollar paydays - courtesy of corporations and insurance companies - there will be people "sailing on the account."
