London needs a little more than talk

London riots: David Cameron says police must be more 'robust' - Telegraph Not the police response - that might have some impact. (It would be better if all 16,000 cops were actually armed. But that would make them too much like us uncivilized Americans.)

The Prime Minister also announced that Parliament will be recalled this Thursday so MPs can “stand together in condemnation of these crimes.”

Because nothing strikes fear into the hearts of rioters like a bunch of speechifying politicians.

So, is this the beginning of the end for the country that used to be Great Britain? Or just more of the same. (This kind of thing happens a lot outside of Paris.)
