Alpheca's weekly review of the press

Alpheca has once again posted a review of the treatment of guns in the press. Go look at it, as always it is top drawer. One story on a program in Wisconsin to donate meat to food shelters caught my eye:
Each deer typically provides 40-45 pounds of ground meat. In the first four years of the DNR-sponsored program, pantries distributed more than 1 million pounds of ground venison.
You won't see many positive treatments of hunting in the MSM. (Seems a shame to grind it all - nothing beats a venison roast!
