The House Gun

GP100
Nothing says home protection like .357 Magnum, semi-jacketed, hollow-point bullets (they even look nasty). My Ruger GP-141 with a 4 inch barrel, as in the photo.

In the middle of the night, I want something simple and effective. That's a wheelgun with stopping power. The .357 has something like 90% single shot stopping record, and the revolver is a very simple machine. No feed problems, ejector jams, or other problems. With a speed-loader on hand, reloading is fast and easy.
