Good Samaritan Shelters Woman, Kills Boyfriend

HoustonChronicle.com - Homeowner sheltering woman shoots pursuing boyfriend. A domestic "dispute." They argue while driving, to the point that whoever is driving crashes the car (it turns over). The woman crawled from the car and ran to a nearby homeowner and pleaded for help.

The homeowner took the woman into his home and locked the door. The mutant boyfriend, after pounding on the door and yelling threats, broke into the home and was shot and killed by the homeowner.

This will be referred to a grand jury, which I hope is mostly for the sake of going through all the forms, but I think this is a clearly not a crime. You break into my house, I have the right to defend myself, my family, my friends. If I offer to shelter you, well then I can protect you too. And when you break into my house, it really isn't clear who are you are threat to other than everyone in the house.
