Just another day at the diner

The Eagle: 24 HR Eat Gas Now Cafe is a hunter's sanctuary Just what ever diner needs, a resident hunting club.

Finish your beverage first!
"Most of them can stay. Just get your buddies out of here," she ordered.

I looked over at the boys in the large, round corner booth. Things seemed normal to me. "Why?"

"Look what they're doing."

I examined them more closely. Doc was cleaning a disassembled shotgun. Youngster had a fly vise attached to the table and was tying what looked like a Wooly Bugger. Wrong Willie poured a stream of sugar into his coffee while at the same time reading a book on U.S. history. Beside him, Woodrow carefully examined the contents of his beard in a mirror. Jerry Wayne and the Cap'n were in a heated discussion about how to untangle the serious backlash in a level wind reel. It lay on the table, still attached to a seven and a half-foot rod.
Sounds OK to me.
