Cowboy Bebop and the Glock 30

I have mentioned that Anime is one of my guilty pleasures. One reason is that the women tend to be hard as nails. Faye, of the Cowboys, is no exception to this rule.


The Cowboys are a group of late 21st century bounty hunters. Spike is ex-Mafia, Jet is an ex-cop and Faye a street-smart soldier of fortune.

Another reason I like Anime is the attention to detail. As you can see from the still below, the gun is a Glock 30, not just a caricature of a pistol. [click the image for a larger view]

Since Faye has to do a fair amount of detective work, the Glock 30's ability to be concealed comes in handy. The .45 ACP's stopping power comes in handy too.
