The MSM twists and spins on self-defense

WBTW TV-13 Florence, Myrtle Beach, Lumberton - Coverage you can count on | Self Defense Bill Read the following passage.
[G]enerally speaking, if the bill becomes law, and if you lawfully use deadly force... you would be immune from criminal prosecution and may not be arrested. [I did not edit this passage. The ellipsis is in the original. Z-Deb]
So do they think that if you lawfully defend yourself, you should be arrested and prosecuted?

There shouldn't need to be a law that states if I act within the law I should not be prosecuted. My guess is that this isn't quite what the bill says, but I may be mistaken. There are certainly enough cases of prosecutors taking self-defense to trial. [via KABA]
