Prepared to Defend Herself

Walther PPK .. .380The Enquirer - Victim stands ground 2 of 3 men who raped her are getting out of jail. They have threatened to kill her. She isn't taking those threats lightly.
She's taken kick-boxing and self-defense classes. She practices her shooting skills almost weekly at a Sharonville target range. She and her husband, Michael, are applying for permits to carry a concealed weapon.
Her husband sleeps with a .45 under his pillow. [The image is of an example .380 ACP pistol.]

While they are looking into getting a restraining order, they are not expecting that to protect them. They are ready to protect themselves.
When Cathy Lindsey's youngest son handed her a .380-caliber pistol a year ago, he gave her a word of advice.

"It boils down to one thing," said Charlie Keith, an Army veteran who served two tours in Iraq. "Kill or be killed. You have to fight for your life."
More women need to show the strength this woman has shown. She recovered and reclaimed her life. She put her attackers in jail for a good long time. (The 2 getting out plead guilty in 1983, the 3rd will be eligible for parole in 2011.) She is now ready to defend herself. This is the type personal strength America should be seeking to instill in all women and young girls.
