Shooting Sports: Women in Hunting

Vail Daily News - Hunting: Not just a man’s sport anymore A nice story about women in hunting that manages not to be surprised by the fact that women hunt.

It starts with the story of 65-year-old Linda Beagley, who taught her granddaughters to hunt. She got her first hunting license when she was 14.

Still hiking into the back-country to hunt certainly isn't for everyone.
Nationwide, 9 percent of hunters were women that year, amounting to 1.2 million women, and some say that figure will grow.
A great story about some great women hunters. I would say it's worth a look. [NRA-ILA]
