Contractor charged in stabbing A contractor is working a home-improvement job, when the ex-boyfriend of the woman who lived at the residence tried to break in. Eventually he did break in and the contractor stabbed the guy - protecting the woman.
But in the not-so-great state of New Jersey, that is a crime.... defending the helpless is a crime, and the contractor is in jail, and to add insult to injury his bail is MUCH higher than what was assigned to the mutant ex-boyfriend who started the whole ruckus.
